costs of stomach stapling usually range from $25 000 to $40 000. There are some ways that patients

have successfully paid for obesity surgery, though:

1) Insurance: Some insurance providers now do help with funding the many expenses of gastric bypass

surgery. The idea is that obesity costs more in the long run. However, most providers do not make

it very easy to get the money allotted for obesity surgery. In most cases, you need to be morbidly

obese and have a doctor declare that gastric bypass surgery is considered important or necessary. In
